Day 8 – October 28th, 2019
My first thought after today is “why doesn’t everyone live in Hawaii?
Why don’t I live in Hawaii? haha
Seriously, the most beautiful scenery I have seen in my life.
Today we rented a Polaris slingshot and drove all the way around the island.
Beach, after beach, after beach.
Honestly, Hawaii is bigger than I thought it would be, and we aren’t even on the big island!
I have learned SO much since being here, particularly from a marketing standpoint.
But one thing that has really stuck out to me so far is:
Everyone is unique in their own way and has a story that led them to who they are today.
We are often so quick to judge others when we don’t have any idea what led them to be the way they are.
We all have a story. We are all just trying to “figure life out”.
And I think it is important to realized and remember that everyone else is going through the same stuff we are, but a completely different version of it.
That’s been something I have even really thinking about today. (Podcast episode coming soon on it)
Tomorrow we hop on an early (and quick!) flight over to Kauai and begin a 6-day trek living out of the back of a pickup truck and a popup tent.
We will be “off the grid” for a while.
Apparently, Kauai is way more beautiful than this one…
Alright, that’s it for today! But quick question for you…
what is the number 1 thing you have learned from traveling?
(Even if you haven’t traveled in a while!)
Comment below and let me know!
Now I need to get some sleep.
See you tomorrow!
